We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bedford Hotel. We went for the Lytham Festival and the hotel was in a great location not far from the beach and a 5 min drive from the festival. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and well equipped with a large wardrobe and plenty of hangers. Iron and ironing board, hair dryer, tea and coffee. There were toiletries in the bathroom soap shampoo and shower gel. A slight improvement would be to add a small shelf in the shower as there isn't anywhere to put the shampoo whilst washing your hair which proved quite difficult. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was delicious and a good choice of cereals, fruit, yogurt, fresh fruit juice and a full English all included in the price. I would definitely stay again.

We stayed in a beach front flat , it was close to the main shops and the beach. Walking is easy as everywhere is flat. It was difficult to find somewhere to eat as the town was very very busy, which wasn’t a problem to be honest we were so impressed to see everyone out having a great time, good for the local economy.

St Anne`s shopping area is not quite as good but it leads straight to the pier & beach area. Lots of nice walks. Fairhaven lake area very pretty.

St annes is perfect place for family break with the option to travel through to blackpool or the shops and cafes in lytham. St annes is a place my small children love due to the sandy beach and amusement at the pier lots of memories to be made.

Been too Lytham & Lytham St Anne’s x3 now.
Been too Lytham & Lytham St Anne’s x3 now. Hubby absolutely loves it there & the beaches are lovely (though I’m not a lover of sand). There are plenty of restaurants, pubs/bars & shops too suit all pockets & tastes. We’ve walked from Lytham St Anne’s through to St.Annes on Sea (where the Windmill is) & then round to Lytham square where there are lots of places for a drink & meal, after stopping at a local bar with pub grub (The Railway). So yes I’d recommend. Beaches are safe, there’s a small funfair, & plenty of garden’s (e.g. Ashton’s Park) & if it rains there’s a cinema & an indoor pool. So also plenty to keep kids entertained. The bus service is pretty regular although it can be confusing if you are new to the place - we would have gotten bus into Blackpool (if a local hadn’t told us) instead of into Lytham Square where we were going for a meal at the ‘Olive Tree’, 54 is also good as are Allegria (in St Anne’s) & The Anatolia Sky (on sea front). The chippy near the pier is also good (& cheaper than what we pay at home for fish & chips) with big portions.

Stuart & the staff were very helpful & friendly. We were in Lytham with friends & Stuart allowed them to join us for breakfast in the hotel end. As other people have mentioned, the breakfast was amazing value & we all enjoyed it. They also set up one of the areas in the Sports bar for us to watch a really important football match (league one play offs), while still allowing others to watch the European semi finals.
The Apartments Lytham Square are fantastic - in an amazing location right in the heart of the Lytham bars and restaurants and shops (literally seconds from Stringers!). The apartments themselves are finished to an extremely high standard- think boutique hotel chic. The host, Dale, was really informative and helpful and small touches like flowers, wine and an easter egg just made the whole experience 11 out of 10!
Fantastic host from the moment we walked in very friendly and made us welcome hotel is very clean and modern and the breakfast we had was fantastic had the full English and was even treated to a bucks fizz with our orange juice and coffee but there is a huge choice of items to choose from the menu will definitely stay again as also excellent location for all the bars and restaurants in Lytham. 10/10
Our room was spotless, lots of tea, coffee and biscuits on hand.
The bar area was lovely and cheerful. The Christmas tree was exceptional.
We only ate breakfast in the hotel, there was a lot of choice. I had the eggs benedict which was amazing.
All the staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
The hotel had an amble sized car park and it is situated right in the center of Lytham.
The Queens Hotel is a lovely hotel the food is excellent and the staff were really friendly and helpful the room was very clean and furnished well the only downside was the bed was a small double so next time we go to stay there we’ll make sure we have a bigger room and bed it’s also very well located for the centre of Lytham can’t wait to go back
property was lovely, rooms comfortable but a little small (our fault though as we booked the compact double)
very well maintained and clean throughout.
we went to the Lytham festival and arrived back late but the hotel bar was still open and food was available until late which we thought was great.
I used the hotel as I was attending Lytham Festival 3 miles away. It was conveniently located ok straight road on beach to Festival so ideally placed.
Did not use rest of hotel facilities so can't comment.
Hotel did seem busy though as I arrived and returned so that must be a good sign.
Room was clean, all amenities were provided. We had the top floor twin room, booked for Lytham Festival. Short bus ride into Lytham, bus stop at the rear of the hotel. Lovely place to stay.
The hotel is in an excellent location opposite the beach front and close to the pier. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable . Friendly staff and great continental breakfast.
All around a very friendly and homely environment. More welcoming and cosy than a chain hotel for sure. Staff were very friendly and accommodating to individual needs.
Everything. Our 3rd stay so far this year. Won't be our last. Stuart & his team are great. Very helpful & always pleasant. Hotel is peaceful & relaxing.
