The Real Tenerife!
Known as the ‘real Tenerife’, San Miguel de Abona is a hidden gem of the Canary Islands and an ideal base for touring Tenerife. It has contrasting landscapes of traditional wooden terraces, rocky ridges, volcanic mountains, and valleys lined with vegetation.
San Miguel de Abona is a hub of agriculture which means it has some great, traditional restaurants that benefit from fresh produce. The town’s cobbled streets are lined with 18th-century town houses and lead to the iconic 17th-century church of San Miguel Arcángel.
Tenerife is home to a rugged coastline, sandy beaches, touristy resorts like Golf del Sur, and the fascinating Teide National Park which features Spain’s highest peak, Pico del Teide.

If you want to rest and relax this is the place for you.
If you want to rest and relax this is the place for you. There are no nightclubs and not a noisy place. Only thing I would recommend if flying with Ryanair arrive 3 hours prior to flight if you want to get food and make purchases. They only have 3 checkin desks for all flights and they let the nearest flight skip the queue even though they are late. Checkin with luggage takes at least 1.5 hours. Security is quite fast. Sort of long walk to gate and a passport control to get through to our gate after security. Ryanair at fault. Not airport.MaireadIreland - 10Scored 10

We love this resort as it has everything you need and the selection of bars and restaurants is fabulous. San blas square has something for everyone and we particularly enjoyed a lovely meal at Old Fasioned at the top square. I loved the well equipped spacious apartment central location .. great hosts… handy for a local bar 1.5 euro a pint! within walking distance to marina.. submarine experience. handy for San Blas (square).. entertainment… Lovely Tapas Restaurant’ Abierto’ just outside the main square… sign up for ‘TipsyTapas’ .., M/T/W/T all you can drink for 4 hrs … plus food dishes .., 22 Euro … Happy Days especially if it’s cloudy! Lots of good places to eat and drink out good supermarkets, prices very good. Great places to walk. Did not like the amount of dog shit that owners did not pick up after their dogs. Lazy and discusting.

We have been to this area 3 times now, I cannot fault it !!!! Its quite with enough shops & restaurants not too far to go to aqualand a couple of the big shopping places in car or bus trips , 2 small marina's in this area both lovely I no one definite does boat trips & submarine trips. Accommodation was perfect. Very relaxing holiday. Pool was calm and the pool bar was exceptional. Amazing place if you want a calm holiday. However it took 5 minutes by taxi to get somewhere slightly lively and 15 minutes from Siam Park and Las America.SARAH

Lots of internal and also external space, pool area was great and restfull . Perfect also for golfers. Close to the Tenerife South airport, all necessary shops and nice restaurants are in walking distance, new walking zone to Marina. Beautiful walks by the ocean just under the complex. The hotel is very clean, comfortable and the location is great because it is close to the Airport in the south and also the Los Christianos ferry terminal. Our flight arrived late in the evening and it was easy to take a quick taxi and we had a wonderful hostess lady welcoming us! Thank you for your hospitality and kindness. Next time in Tenerife we will be staying here again.
